13 November 2018: She was a teenage girl whose first novel became a modern myth. This year marks 200 years since Mary Shelley's gothic masterpiece "Frankenstein" was first published.

For the anniversary, the multi-award winning British poet and writer Fiona Sampson brings us "In Search of Mary Shelley." She speaks to Eve Jackson about Shelley's difficult life, the enduring nature of Frankenstein and the significance of the author of this monstrous tale being a woman.
