CAIRO - 25 October 2018: Ahmed Helmy was scheduled to shoot a new film during the previous Eid El-Adha (Muslim feast), but he decided to wait and not rush things, especially that he and the cast were running out of time.
The star decided not to take any risks with his cinematic project “Laf wa Dawaran” (Turning in circles), a decision that added to the great success achieved at the time of the film's release.
Film producers in Egypt rush to work with Helmy, as he is considered one of the pioneering comedians in the local film industry; however, producers do not rush Helmy when the star is trying to make a serious decision regarding any of his works.
This leaves Helmy’s fans oblivious to why he did not decide to participate in any films since “Laf wa Dawaran” (Turning in circles).
“Laf wa Dawaran” (Turning in circles) starred Ahmed Helmy, Donia Samir Ghanem, Sabreen, Enaam Salousa, Mimi Gamal and others, and was directed by Khaled Marei.
