CAIRO – 19 October 2018: The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) honored on Thursday, Oct.18 the cast of the series “Bel Hagm al-Aa’ely” [Family Size].

The honoring ceremony, which was held at the Cairo Opera House's Small Hall, reflected the council's keenness to honor spectacular drama series, which shed light on human rights.

Iconic Egyptian actor Yehia el-Fakharany returned to Egyptian drama through the series in 2018.

The series was produced by Mona Qotb, written by Mohamed Ragaa, and directed by Hala Khalil.

The series discussed a social issue that grabbed the attention of the audience. Qotb stated that Fakharany selects the topics of his works thoroughly; this is one of the reasons why Fakharany is the number one actor in the Egyptian Drama.

Among the most recent series of Fakharany was “Wanoos,” which aired in 2016. It examined the relationship between man and devil.

The series was influenced by Dante’s divine comedy, “Goethe Faust,” and Christopher Marlow’s “Doctor Faustus.”
