On being on Star Academy
Being on TV 24/7 was the hardest part at the beginning — imagine yourself facing the camera all day; it was very uncomfortable. But after a while I got used to this and started to believe this was normal.
On support from the talent machine
Star Academy has a huge fan base all over the Middle East, so participating there was a great chance for me to reach out to more people. I wouldn’t have had my work known to the public without being a part of the show. However there wasn’t any sort of support offered after I left the Academy.
On where he is now
My latest album Naqla fi Hayati and the video clip “Kam Leila” (How Many Nights) gave me a great push forward so I’ve released many singles in the past few months. Now I’m working on my new album, which should be coming out soon. et
