Digital cultural palace to be established soon

CAIRO - 9 October 2018: Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Amr Talaat discussed new methods to create a digital cultural platform to ease the process for people seeking to explore Egypt’s culture.

The two ministers aim to cooperate in order to document all the Ministry of Culture's activities through audios, visuals, prints, documents and blogs.

The new documentation system will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines set by the minister of culture to protect copy rights. Any monetarily profits gained through the new cultural platform will be directed to the ministry to maintain the quality of the cultural content and related services.

Furthermore, both ministers discussed creating a new digital cultural palace working under the supervision of the Ministry of Education to connect all cultural palaces in the country and allow students to easily access the cultural database.
