CAIRO - 25 May 2017: British Museum displayed Egyptian mummies, galleries, and ancient sculptures during May through a virtual reality tour accessible to anyone located anywhere worldwide.
The virtual digital tour is launched in collaboration with Oculus, a Samsung-powered Gear VR. The full VR experience also allows users worldwide to overlook Assyrian sculptures through their computers or mobile devices once they apply the VR headset.
Viewers will be able to experience high-resolution 360-degree photography featuring informative narration and interactive 3D models of displayed objects according to a released statement by the British Museum.
The Oculus Samsung headset gear, established in 2012 and later acquired by Facebook, is a digital gadget that permits users a VR experience and is applicable on games, movie scenes, and special destinations among others.
