CASA ART Festival to be held on April 4-8, 2019

CAIRO – 2 September 2018: CASA ART Festival is expected to take place from April 4 to 8, 2019 in Casablanca, Morocco.

In its fourth edition, CASA ART Festival will honor actors Hassan el-Radad and Emy Samir Ghanem, for their series “Azmi We Ashgan” broadcasted last Ramadan.

The festival will also award actor Yasser Galal the best actor prize for his role in “Rahim” broadcasted last Ramadan.

Furthermore, actor Ahmed Zaher will be honored for his entire career.

In its previous edition, the festival honored actor Ahmad el-Sakka and Abla Fahita.

“Azmi We Ashgan” revolves around a couple, performed by Radad and Ghanem, who scam people and face comic situations as they try to escape. The series was directed by Islam Khairy.

“Rahim” is a rich businessman, who works in money laundry and currency smuggling. After he finishes a long prison sentence, he finds out that his men took all his money and drove his family away. He goes on a journey to find them and get his belongings back.

“Rahim” was directed by Mohamed Salama and written by Mohamed Galal.
