CAIRO – 26 August 2018: The 14th edition of MIME Festival for silent acting (pantomime), launched by El-Sawy Culturewheel, will kick off on Aug. 26 and will run until Aug. 27.
The shows will be held in the Wisdom Hall at 6 p.m.
It is worth noting that the festival was founded in 2005 and presented silent acting for the first time in Egypt.
El-Sawy Culturewheel is an all-purpose, private cultural center, located in Zamalek district, Central Cairo, Egypt.
Artist and musician Ali el-Haggar will also perform in the Wisdom Hall on August 29.
Mohamed el-Sawy is an Egyptian engineer, cultural entrepreneur and politician. He is the founder of El-Sawy Culturewheel and the Civilization Party.
He is the son of late novelist and journalist, Abdel Moneim El-Sawy.
Mohamed El-Sawy named the culturewheel after his father.
