CAIRO – 26 August 2018: Lebanese Minister of Information, Melhem al-Reyashi, will honor Lebanese singer Elissa on September 13, 2018.
The minister will also present a shield to Elissa for her repetitive successes in the music industry.
Elissa's latest album, “Ela Kol Eli Beyheboni”, achieved unprecedented success. Most of the songs were written by Shady Noor, and composed by Mohamed Yehia.
Director Engy Gamal managed with her talent to portray Elissa’s struggle with cancer in the video clip produced very close to reality.
Millions of fans worldwide deeply sympathized with the "Queen of Emotions" as many of her fans call her.
Elissa was born in Deir Al-Ahmar and raised in Bekaa Valley, a land known for its amazing landscape and history.
At the tender age of 10, Elissa began participating in social events and took part in the kids' festival at Mont La Salle, which was hosted by Sandy Oshakji.
As Elissa grew up, she became more involved in the art scene by acting in theater plays, namely with well-known song writer Wassim Tabbara and later, with the "Théâtre de 10 Heures".
Having studied political science at the Lebanese University, she had a natural passion for political critique, which along with her talent, left a lasting impression on the audience of her first play.
