New International Exhibition Centre - Egypt Today.
CAIRO – 20 August 2018: A number of pictures have been uploaded to the official page of the Cairo International Book Fair, showing Egypt's International Exhibition Center (EIEC) located in the new CICC Exhibition and Events Center in Nasr City.
The center is located behind the famed Musheer Tantawi mosque. The center's opening comes simultaneously with the setting of the Golden Jubilee for the Cairo Book Fair in its 50th round.
The fair's management is going to provide the public free transportation to and from the exhibition's grounds, according to the fair's official page on the web. This free service became possible after co-operating with public transportation firms in Cairo that welcomed the initiative made by the fair's officials.
To maintain the high standards of an event with such a high significance, the completed showrooms were arranged professionally. Free Wi Fi will be provided for the attendees, along with the preparation of several cultural activities and special spaces designated for reporters and authors.
The Cairo International Book Fair is the largest and oldest in the Arab world. The event is organized and held annually during the last week of the month of January at the Cairo International Fair Grounds in Nasr City.
The book fair is considered the most significant in its category of events in the Pan-Arab region.
