CAIRO – 29 July – 2018: Netflix started this week shooting the movie “Murder Mystery”, which will witness the reunion of veteran stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.
“Murder Mystery” revolves around an American police officer who decides to fulfil the promise he made to his wife and embark on a long European trip together. On the flight, the couple meet an anonymous man who invites them to join a family party on a luxurious Yacht owned by a rich billionaire named Malcolm Quince. When Quince is murdered, the couple find themselves becoming suspects.
The movie is being shot the harbour of Santa Margherita Ligure and Lake Como in Italy.
Besides Sandler and Aniston, the movie contains a notable cast such as Gemma Arterton, Luis Gerardo Mendez, Shioli Kutsuna, David Walliams, Adeel Akhtar, John Kani, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Dany Boon and Terence Stamp.
“Murder Mystery” is Written by James Vanderbilt and directed by Kyle Newacheck.
“I love Italy. I was here with my wife a year ago and loved it so much I brought the kids with me this time and an entire movie crew... great food, great people, great family life,” recounted Adam Sandler about filming in Italy for the first time to ComingSoon.net.
“Murder Mystery” will be released globally on Netflix in 2019.
