Some Ramadan series and programs face legal disputes

CAIRO – 12 May 2017: Every year Ramadan series and programs face legal issues, and this year is no different.

Mohamed Fouad’s El-Daher series is facing an anonymous destiny as the shooting has stopped due to a report filed by the executive director of the production company against singer and actor Mohamed Fouad, accusing him of being responsible for his huge money loss as a result of his lack of commitment in the shooting dates.

After most of the scenes were shot in Phobia, Khaled el-Sawy the lead actor filed a report against the production house, now that they violated the contract’s terms concerning the shooting dates. However, then decided to waive the report after a reconciliation session was conducted and shooting was resumed.

As usual Ramez Galal faced a legal issue, this time someone accused him of stealing his idea of the show and changing the name from Remal Motahreka to Ramez Taht el-Ard.
