Zayn Malik sends appreciation message to his Egyptian fans

CAIRO – 27 April 2018: Famed British singer and former One Direction boy-band member Zayn Malik sent an appreciation message to his Egyptian fans for making his latest hit “Let Me” top the iTunes charts.

Statistics of iTunes released earlier this month pertaining to “Let Me” showed clearly that the song’s Egyptian listeners on the media player had the highest percentage.

“Thank you Egypt! We got #LetMe to number 1 on iTunes,” Malik posted on his official Facebook page to express his gratitude to his loyal fans based in Egypt.

Egyptian fans were keen to reply to Malik’s Facebook post, with one user writing, “You don’t need to thank us; we have to stand beside each other.”

“Thank you for being an amazing idol for us… we are waiting for you in Egypt,” another fan replied.

“The best way to thank us is to visit Egypt!” another user had written, as most of the fans invited Malik to come to Egypt.

Zayn Mailk was born on January 12, 1993 in the U.K. He started his musical career in 2010 when he participated in the U.K. talent show X-Factor. Later, he joined the pop group One Direction. Malik left the group during their world tour in March 2015 and started his solo career.
