Picasso Art-Gallery hosts a playful and colorful exhibition; “Fishing, Nubia and Horseback Riding", from April 24 to May 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Through the exhibition, Egyptian artist Mostafa El Razzaz focuses on three things: fishing, Nubia and horseback riding, which have shaped and dominated his visual perception since the beginning of his 60s.

The artworks reflect in an analytical and philosophical view the daily life of fishermen at the High Dam Lake and their strong bond with fishing nets and nature along with the simple Nubian life and the relation between human beings and horses, plant and birds.

On Thursday, Cairo Opera House will pay tribute to Frank Sinatra and Andrea Bocelli singers with a special gig by the Cairo Opera Choir in the Small Hall from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo, the choir will perform a number of hits by both iconic singers along with famous international songs.

Sculptors Alfons Louis and Sarkis Tossoonian are hosting a dual exhibition at Safar Khan Gallery, Zamalek, from April 12 until May 4.

Titled "The Magic of Alexandria", this exhibition brings together the raw, unique talents of two of Alexandria's finest sculptors together, exemplifying the best that the city's artistic scene has to offer.

Both are now internationally renowned names, achieving as much praise and acclaim abroad as they do within their homeland of Egypt, offering up their memoirs and artistic motivations. Tossoonian is known for his trademark work with bronze and brass, shaping them with expert skill to create incredibly lifelike yet stylized human figures.

Lovers of Shakespeare's “The Tempest” can go to SOMA Art Gallery, Zamalek, which will host an exhibition by artist Youssef Ragheb, named “Full Fathom Five”, from April 17 to May 7.

Inspired by Shakespeare's “The Tempest”, “Full Fathom Five” gives a philosophical interpretation of the idea of death as transformation and metamorphosis via texts and art.

The Arts-Mart Gallery holds the fourth edition of “Artists of Tomorrow” exhibition from April 27 to May 15 at Dandy Mall from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Various artworks of many artists will be presented during the exhibition, including those of Ahmed Nabil, Alaa Abu Elhamd, Amani Moussa, Kamla Bassiouni, Mahmoud Khattab, Omar Senada, Nermine Bahaa, Rabab Eissa, Reham Hosni, and Sara El Sawy.

The “Artists of Tomorrow” exhibition is an annual event held by the Arts-Mart Gallery, in which the most promising artists of the year show their works and their meaningful experiences in art.

The Tap East in New Cairo will host on Friday singer-songwriter and the guitarist Danny Malak to bring some live acoustic music and unique blues to the stage.

Many films are being shown this weekend at the second edition of Cairo Cinema Days festival, especially contemporary award-winning and critically-acclaimed films from the Arab region. The festival is scheduled to be held from April 23 to April 30, with 25 Arab films from Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Morocco, Palestine and many others set to be screened at three venues: Karim Cinema and Cimatheque (both in Downtown), as well as Zamalek Cinema.

Along with films, the festival holds workshops, sessions, discussions and masterclasses with directors, and actors from around the Arab world.
