Beethoven’s 9th symphony performed at Cairo Opera House

CAIRO - 4 May 2017: Cairo Symphony Chamber Orchestra and Cappella Choir will perform the 9th symphony of the German musician Beethoven at the Main Hall of Cairo Opera House, on May 6-7 at 8 pm.

The symphony will be performed by, pianist Mohamed Shams, soprano Martina Bortolotti, alto Gala El Hadidi, tenor Alexander Kaimbacher, bass Reda El Wakil. Led by music director, Ahmed El Saedi.

Tickets will be available at the outlets of Opera House prices are 50, 35, 25, EGP and for students 35, 25, 15 EGP. Dress code is formal.

Ludwig van Beethoven was a German composer and pianist. He led the transition between the Classical and Romantic eras in Western art music. He remains one of the most famous and influential composers of all times.
