CAIRO – 22 March 2018: It's a good time for any K-Pop fans in Abu Dhabi; a whole assortment of South Korean musicians will be performing for free at the National Theatre in the Korean Culture Center on March 26, 2018.
The first of the groups present is Second Moon, an ethnic fusion band that has been performing for over a decade now, and was formed by commercial producers Kim Hyun-bo and Park Jin-woo. It is a band composed of people who wished to be true to themselves, playing and performing how they wanted. They have studied folk music and instruments from various cultures, using the internet to teach themselves how to play it. Some of their best works are "Princess Hours" (2006) and "Legend of the Blue Sea" (2016).
Next up is R&B singer Lyn, whose output has seen the production of 10 albums. She has been performing since 2002 and has had her music featured in a wide range of Korean drama productions. Her most famous works are "Have You Ever Had a Broken Heart?'' and "The Pride of the Morning". Lyn is also notable for being the first ever artist to win the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards 'Best Original Soundtrack' award in 2014 for her song "My Destiny" in the drama "My Love from the Star".
Last but not least is Apink, an all-girl Korean pop group founded in 2011, and composed of six singers. They've managed to become quite popular in that time, releasing six mini-albums and three full studio albums in Korea, while managing to cross over towards Japan as well, where the group released three full albums there too. Their repertoire includes hits such as their debut track "I Don't Know", "Nonono" and "My My".
