“Guardians of the Galaxy” sequel in theatres this weekend

CAIRO - 2 May 2017: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 starring Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana will be screened in Egyptian theatres in 3D and IMAX 3D on Wednesday.

The sequel continues the team's adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill's (Chris Pratt) true parentage and fight against galaxy’s enemies.

The film directed by James Gunn scored high ratings on IMDB and rotten tomatoes as most movie critics praised the film’s production, storyline and actors’ performance.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is expected to dominate world box office.

The first part released in 2014 grossed $773.3 million (140M EGP) worldwide and it ended this year as top 3 in worldwide box office.

Marvel studios always introduce new exceptional characters that add a special flavor to the movie. Marvel fans are excited to watch new characters as Takar (Sylverster Stallone) and Tulik (Tommy Flanagan, as well as Peter Quill’s biological father Ego (played by Kurt Russel).

3) Super soundtrack:
The first film had an awesome soundtrack that was trending back then but critics and producers say this one is going to be even better. So far we’ve been treated to Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain, Sweet’s Fox on the Run and Come a Little Bit Closer by Jay and the Americans, yet Gunn said if the soundtrack actually does make it onto the film it will be “even cooler.“
