CAIRO – 2 March 2018: The final round of Korean Fans Got Talent commenced on February 27 opened up by Egypt's new Korean Ambassador Yoon Yeocheol as his first publically attended event.

Yeocheol opened the Korean Fans Got Talent (KFGT) competition, a contest which gathers Korean lovers from all across Egypt to partake in Korean culture; K-Pop, sand artwork, sewing traditional clothing (Hanbok), taekwondo, singing, music, dancing and much more. The event was held at the Greek Campus in Bab El Louk, Cairo.
Yeocheol expressed great pride and enthusiasm towards the competition, and also remarked on how happy he was at his new position, having always admired Egyptian culture.

According to Ahram Online, the Korean Culture Consultant Ahmed Abdel-Fattah stated that this third edition of the KFGT competition was a great success, with 12 competitors across four teams who put everything they had into giving a fun and lively time for everyone. Yeocheol was amongst the jury, along with the new Director for the Korean Cultural Center Yang Sang Keun and Dean of the Academy of Arts Ahlam Younis.
Winners received a shield of recognition from Yeocheol himself, who expressed his immense satisfaction with the competition and a desire to follow it through for many years to come with all new events.
