CAIRO – 28 February 2018: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra is teaming up with the Italian Cultural Institute on March 3, 2018, to perform some of the world's most classical symphonies.

Led by conductor Christian Frattina, the "Italian Flair" concert will cover some of the world's most important classical music, such as the opera "The Barber of Serville" by Gioachino Rossini, "The Concerto for Violin and Orchestra" by Ottorino Respighi, and Ludwig van Beethoven's 4th Symphony in B flat major op. 60. Amongst the other musicians performing is soloist Davide Alogna on the violin and Jolie Faizy as the mezzo soprano.

The current season for the Cairo Symphony Orchestra bears host to many Egyptian and world leaders in the audiences, and provides a space for upcoming new musicians to play along amongst the concerts.

Founded in 1959, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra aims to reach new heights in music, and has reached an international audience alongside performing for Egyptian audience. Currently, the Orchestra has managed to tour across numerous European countries.
