Malaaz band concert at El Sawy Cultural Wheel

CAIRO – 26 January – 2018: The Egyptian Arabic Rock band Malaaz will perform at El Sawy Cultural Wheel on February 15 to launch its upcoming album “Al Sada”.

Founded in 2014, Malaaz introduced alternative rock music in Egyptian dialect and has rocked the musical scene ever since.

The group consists of Mohamed Abdelrazik and Amr Beshr on guitar, Moataz El Nashar on bass and Ahmed El Gohary on drums alongside vocalist Maged Amir.

Malaaz performed several successful concerts in 2017; they shared the stage with Jadal and Khayal , performed at BA Arts Summer Festival with Khayal band, and played at El-Sawy Culture Wheel and Darb 1718.

El Sawy Culturewheel is one of the prominent cultural centers in Egypt. The main cultural venue in Zamalek district has five stages situated in the River Hall, the Wisdom Hall, the Word Hall, the Sakia Garden and the Bostan El Nil.

The halls are all equipped with cinema screens and all kinds of audiovisual aids. Three are more halls which are available for hosting workshops and seminars.
