Rising singer to lead musical performance at Darb 1718

CAIRO – 3 January 2018: Rising Egyptian singer Hania Fansa will carry out a joint performance at Darb 1718 on the evening of January 11, with the participation of Ali Kaliuby on guitar, Faris Erfan on bass, and Mohamed Nader on drums.

The concert is part of Darb 1718’s monthly music program, Mazzika X El Sat7, which aims to introduce unique musical experiences in a fresh open-air venue with a limited number of seats.


Hania Fansa is a rising independent Egyptian singer and songwriter; she has a great passion for various genres of arts and music. Evoking audience’s feelings and perceptions, Fansa combines raw alternative rock melodies with electric psychedelic indie tunes.


Fansa collaborated with different musicians and artists such as guitarist Ibrahim el-Hadad, oud player Amir Morzak and singer Rania Shalaan. She performed various concerts in different places such as Darb 1718, Egyptian Center for Culture and Art (MAKAN), Cairo Opera House, 3elbet Alwan, and Al-Rab3.
