Moroccan singer, Samira Saeed, to perform huge New Year’s Eve concert at a Five Stars Hotels in El Tagamoa El Khames district – Egypt Today
CAIRO – 30 December 2017: The famous Moroccan singer, Samira Saeed, will perform a massive concert at one of the Five-Stars Hotels in El Tagamoa El Khames district (Fifth District), Cairo, on New Year’s Eve, December 31.
Saeed will perform a selection of her latest hit songs, including "Mahaslesh Haga" (Nothing Happened), "Ayza Aeesh" (I Want to Live) and "Hawa Hawa" (Air Air) among others.
Saeed was born in Rabat, Morocco, in 1958 and started singing when she was only nine years old. She was discovered through participating in “Mawaheb”, the famous Moroccan talent show, broadcasted at the time on the Royal Moroccan TV network.
Although she has recorded some songs in Moroccan, such as "Kifash Tlakina" (How we Met), "Fayetli Sheftek Shi Marra" (I've Seen You Once), "Sarkouh" (They Stole Him), and "Al Behhara" (The Sailors), most of her songs are in the Egyptian dialect.
Her singles include "Maghlouba" (Beaten) and "Wa'ady" (My Love). Saeed presented a number of Egyptian hits that were very popular in Egypt, such as "Ben Leff" (The Circle of Life), "Sayidati Sadati" (Ladies and Gentlemen), "Malich Enwan" (With No Address) and "Akher Hawa" (Last Love).
Saeed’s last concert was at the Kuwaiti Opera House on December 8.
