‘Only Men go to the Grave’ to screen at Zawya, December 24

CAIRO – 23 December 2017: Emirati-Iranian drama film “Al Regal Faqat ee’nd El Dafn” (Only Men go to the Grave) will screen at Zawya on December 24.

Written and directed by Abdulla Al Kaabi, the film takes place in 1988, after the end of the first Gulf War. A blind woman decides to confess to her daughters some unrevealed secrets but dies before doing so. Through the three-day funeral, the daughters find out several surprising secrets about their mother from many relatives and friends.

Released in 2016, “Al Regal Faqat ee’nd El Dafn” stars Salimeh Rangzan and Awatif Salman. The film won Muhr Emirati Award for Best Muhr Emirati Feature in Dubai International Film Festival 2016.
