Taksir Sharqi performs at Room Art Space & Café on December 28

CAIRO – 23 December 2017: Rising Egyptian band Taksir Sharqi will perform traditional and contemporary music at the Room Art Space & Café on December 28.

The band consists of Ahmed Omran on oud, Amin Shahin on arghul and kawala, Wael El Sayed on accordion, Walid Abdou on percussions and tanbur, Abdullah Magdy on guitar, and Khaled Mosbah on bass, alongside vocalist Abd Elrahman Balala.

The band, which formed a few weeks ago, combines tradition and modern music. It has performed live numerous times at the Room Art Space & Café, Egyptian Center for Culture and Arts Makan.
