“Ana Shahira, Ana El Kha'en” series on MBC Drama

CAIRO – 17 December 2017: MBC Drama is currently showing the series, “Ana Shahira, Ana El Kha'en” (I Am Shahira, I Am the Betrayer).

The soap opera is based on a novel written by Nour Abdelmegeed, which was divided in two separate books in 2013.

The first book narrates the story from Shahira's perspective while the second book narrates the story from Raouf’s (El Kha’en) perspective. The main theme of the two books is infidelity and revenge.

“Ana Shahira, Ana El Kha'en” revolves around a young female pharmacist named Shahira who has a shocking past. Shahira falls in love with Raouf, and after they get married their love story turns into a tough life lesson.

The series stars Ahmed Fahmy, Yasmine Raeis, Mohamed Alaa and is directed by Ahmed Medhat.
