Visual Storytelling workshop at Beit El Sura

CAIRO – 17 December 2017: Beit El Sura will begin its first series of international workshops with a Visual Storytelling workshop instructed by Ukrainian photographer and filmmaker Anna Voitenko on January 19.

The workshop targets the development of storytelling skills and how to form a story with photos. It will also cover how to find innovative idea that could be presented as a story, how to choose the best visual language, and how to select photos and arrange them.

Kiev based photographer, Anna Voitenko started her career in 2008, and she received Grand Prix of Best Photographer of Russia and Baltic Countries in 2009.

In 2014 she presented her film “The Author” which was screened in Cairo, Oslo, and Athens. She is also a member and cofounder of the first alternative media platform for independent visual journalist Pole Zoru.
