Indian drama film ‘Village Rockstarts’ to screen at EFCA

CAIRO – 14 December 2017: Indian drama film “Village Rockstars” will screen at the Egyptian Film Critics Association (EFCA) on December 17.

Directed by Rima Das, The film revolves around a young girl in Indian village who has great passion for music and wants to establish her Rock band.

Released in 2017, the film won various awards from different festivals such as the Fathy Farag Prize for Best Artistic Contribution from Cairo Film Critics Week at Cairo International Film Festival 2017, the India Gold Award from Golden Gateway of India of Best Film, and the Best Film of Gender Equality from OXFAM Award at Mumbai Film Festival in 2017.
