‘Obsession, A Fashion Photography’ talk by Sherif Elbouhy at Photopia

CAIRO – 9 December 2017: Photographer Sherif Elbouhy will be giving a talk at Photopia on Friday, December 15 titled “Obsession: A Fashion Photography”, discussing his life and career.

Elbouhy was born in 1981 in Port Said, where the mixture of cultures inspired him. Now working as a fashion photographer, Elbouhy rose from the very bottom to get to where he is today in spite of the hardships he faced along the way. He has worked on projects for the government to photograph the Suez Canal Terminal Port in addition to his extensive career in fashion and portraits.

The talk will go discuss his life, career challenges he has faced in the past and now, his gear, techniques used to light portraits and how to deliver a unique voice and point of view through photography.
