Independent singer Nour Khan will perform at 3elbet Alwan

CAIRO – 9 December 2017: Egyptian independent singer Nour Khan will perform an acoustic show at 3elbet Alwan on December 22. She will perform covers of rock, pop and anime music.

Khan is well known for her contributions to the underground music scene; she is a rising underground vocalists and is celebrated for her hit single “Ghorbaa” (Strangers).

An organizer of numerous vocalist workshops for beginners, Khan has produced anime songs and participated in the festival EgyCon.

“Ghorbaa” was released in 2013 and was a collaboration between Khan and Egyptian musician Abdallah Mohamed. The lyrics to the track were taken from a poem by Samih al-Qasim. It has been played four million times on Soundcloud.

Currently, she is working on her first EP in collaboration with other talented musicians.

Khan has performed at various venues including Azraq W Buny Art Studio Showroom, Room Art Space & Cafe and Bab 18 Art Space.
