Russian drama film ‘Loveless’ to screen at Magnolia

CAIRO – 4 December 2017: Russian drama film “Loveless” will screen at Magnolia Leaves of Art on Saturday December 9.

Written and directed by award-winning Russian director Andrey Zvyagintsev, the film revolves around a young boy, Alexey, who has decided to not return home due to his parents' fights.

Although Alexey's parents, Zhenya and Borisare, are on the verge of divorce, they team up in search for Alexey.

Starring Maryana Spivak, Aleksey Rozin, and Varvara Shmykova, the film was released in 2017 and it won the Jury Prize at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

It also participated in various festivals such as Zagreb Film Festival, Munich Film Festival, and the London Film Festival.
