Namnam, Hurley and Egyptian stars arrive on the red carpet

CAIRO – 21 November – 2017: The Egyptian ministry of culture Helmy Namnam and the renowned English actress Elizabeth Hurley arrived at Al Manara Palace to participate in Cairo International Film Festival.

A notable group of Egyptian stars arrived now on the red carpet such as the jury committee head Hussein Fahmy, Lebleba, Hend Sabry, Eyad Nassar, Leila Elwi, Ahmed Helmy, Mona Zaki, Emy Samir Ghanem, Hassan el Radad, Ghada Adel among others.

The acclaimed Egyptian actress Youssra this year’s honorary president at the festival arrived and was keen to kiss Shadia’s photo, showing her love and respect to the heartthrob actress and singer.

‘’ It is an honour to be the honorary head of my country’s festival. I was always keen to attend all CIFF previous editions because the festival bears Egypt name, the Egyptian cinema is the Middle Eastern Hollywood’’ Youssra recounted during her interview with DMC channels.

The 39th edition of the festival will honour the late cinema critic Samir Farid. The festival’s management has prepared a program to honour a number of distinguished filmmakers who passed away this year, including Egyptian director Mohamed Kamel el-Kaliouby and veteran Lebanese director John Shamoun.
