Nour Khan to perform acoustic night in Cairo

CAIRO – 6 November 2017: The Egyptian independent singer Nour Khan will perform an acoustic night at Room Art Space & Café on November 17. She will introduce many covers of rock, pop and anime music.


Khan is known for her contributions to the underground music scene; she is one of the rising underground vocalists and is well known for her hit single “Ghorbaa” (Strangers).


Organizer of numerous vocalist workshops for beginners, Khan has produced anime songs and participated in Egycon festivals.


“Ghorbaa” was released in 2013. It was a collaboration between Khan and the Egyptian musician Abdallah Mohamed. The lyrics of the track were taken from a poem by Samih al-Qasim. It has been played four million times on Soundcloud.

Khan participated at various venues such as Azraq W Buny Art Studio Showroom and Bab 18 Art Space.
