CAIRO – 4 November 2017: Syrian trending singer Faia Younan will be performing live at Bibliotheca Alexandrina on November 19.
Younan released her first album in 2016. Younan is considered one of the best rising voices in the Middle East. It is believed that she is one of the upcoming Arab singing icons.
Being popular among social media users, her “Ohob Yadaik” [I Love your Hands] song was financed via the internet.
The song “Le Belady” [to My Home] featured her sister Rihan and was the flame that lit her fame internationally. Dedicated to war-torn countries, the song was translated into many languages and podcasted in various schools.
Younan participated in various venues such as Cairo Opera House, Damascus Opera House, Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Odean Theater.
Carrying impressive, sensual voice intermingled with modern oriental melodies is the main characteristic of her unique musical performance.
For the first time, Younan also will participate in 17th Le Festival Du Monde Arabe De Montreal on November 9.
