“Molly’s Game” - Aaron Sorkin (January 5, 2018)
Starring Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba and Kevin Costner, “Molly’s Game” adapts the true story of Molly Bloom, an Olympic skier who ran the world’s most high-stake poker game until her arrest by the FBI.
“A Man of Integrity” - Mohammad Rasoulof (September 1, 2017)
Reza Akhlaghirad and Soudabeh Beizaee feature in this Iranian drama about corruption. Set in a humble village in the Iranian countryside, the film follows a goldfish farmer struggling to find a life where he will be neither the oppressed nor the oppressor, and is forced to take justice into his own hands. This underground Iranian production has been banned in its own country.
“In the Fade” - Fatih Akin (October 19, 2017)
Diane Kruger is the lead of this German revenge movie about a woman who loses both her husband and son in a bombing attack and seeks revenge against the perpetrators, a neo-Nazi couple.
“Darkest Hour” - Joe Wright (November 22, 2017)
This biographic war film features Gary Oldman as British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. In the height of World War II, Churchill, newly appointed as the British PM must make a difficult choice between signing a peace treaty against Nazi Germany or sticking to his ideals and going to war, Churchill finds himself faced with the fate of the world in his hands.
