CAIRO – 2 November 2017: The Egyptian legendary singer Ali al-Haggar will perform a concert at Cairo Opera House on November 12, alongside the Egyptian singer Rehab Omar and the Lebanese singer Saad Ramadan.
The concert is a part of the 26th Arab Music Festival activities.
Haggar will perform his classic hits such as “Hona al-Qahera” [Here is Cairo], “A’m Batata” [Uncle Batata], and “Dehket al-Masagen” [Prisoners’ laughter]; moreover, he will sing a collection of his iconic soundtracks such as “Bawabet al-Halawany” [Halawany’s Gate], “Al-Mal wal Banon” [Money and Sons] and “Masa’let Mabdaa’” [A Matter of Principle].
Honoring the career of the legendary singer Umm Kalthoum, Omar will perform many of her songs such as “Thawret al-Shak” [A Revolution of Doubt], and “Gamal el-Donya” [Beauty of Life].
Saad Ramadan will also perform a selection of classic songs, beside his own songs such as “Ded el-Nesyan” [Against Forgetting].
