Fayrouz Karawya to perform at El Sawy Culture Wheel

CAIRO – 29 October 2017: The talented independent Egyptian singer Fayrouz Karawya will perform at El Sawy Culture Wheel on November 4.

Karawya is a rising star; her sweet unique vocals define her musical style and performance.

She is also considered a multi-skilled character. She participated in many theatrical performances and wrote a script for a short narrative film “Sabah El Fol” [Good Morning].

In December 2016 Karawya started a project called “Mazagang,” which aims to improvise different musical sounds and combine it with Karawya’s voice.

“Mazagang” depends on certain instruments such as the piano, oud, and guitar. It also aims to enhance young talented musicians’ contributions in the Egyptian music market.

Karawya released many albums such as “Genanet El Ensan” [Human’s Garden] in 2013 and “Albak Zeham” [Your Crowded World] in 2016.
