Sherif el Bendary to give a directing workshop

CAIRO - 28 October 2017: Egyptian director Sherif el Bendary will host a directing workshop in Cima Center in Downtown on November 6. The workshop will commence for 3 months every Monday and Wednesday.

El Bendary will teach the trainees directing principles and techniques. At the end of the workshop each trainee will be required to carry out a practical project to evaluate their benefits from the workshop.

El Bendary directed a number of award winning short movies such as '' Sabah el fol'' (Good morning), '' Saeet el Asary'' (Afternoon Hour), and '' Haar Gaf Sayfn'' (Hot and dry weather in summer) among others. El Bendary also directed the feature film ‘Ali, The Goat and Ibrahim’.

Ali, The Goat and Ibrahim revolves around Ali who is becomes friends with a goat called Nada thinking that his late girlfriend lives in this goat . Ibrahim works at a recording studio and suffers from terrifying voices in his head. Ali, Ibrahim and Nada later head off on a picaresque adventure that takes them to the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, and the Nile in this touching tale of friendship, reconciliation and self-discovery.
