CAIRO – 24 October 2017: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina will be organizing this year’s edition of its "Arts School Celebration" event from November 6 to December 26.
The celebration features a wide variety of activities including a guitar and violin concert and a performance by the Arts School’s violin students using the Suzuki Method. The Suzuki method was discovered more than 50 years ago by Japanese violinist Shinichi Suzuki, who noticed that children learned their native languages quickly and fluently using this method, and sought to apply this to teaching music.
Other activities included in the celebration are a ballet performance and the 10th round of the "Workshop Exhibition for Child and Adolescent Creativity." The Art School features students from age six and above, and considers creativity in the different stages of development.
