“Nesaa Bela Gaad’’ wins WTF Best Play Award

CAIRO- 21 October 2017: ‘’Nesaa Bela Gaad’’ (Women with No Tomorrow) won the Best Play Award from the first edition of the Women Theater Festival (WTF).

The play tackles the tragedy of three Syrian refugees in Germany, who live together and share intricate details of their life. The play depicts the strained relations between them and how the circumstances leading to their departure from Syria affected their feelings of security. The play is written by Gawad el-Asady and directed by Nour Ghanem.

The festival was organized to honor the great late actress Sanaa Gamil, the renowned late writer Fathia el Assal and the rising star Nawal el Adl.
