Darb 1718 hosts storyboard workshop

CAIRO – 20 October 2017: The Darb 1718 Contemporary Art and Culture Center will be hosting a workshop dedicated to teaching storyboards, starting from next month on November 12 until December 3.

The workshop will be taught by Shadi Hagras, a freelance illustrator of 12 years and a fine arts graduate. His body of work includes advertisers such as Tarek Nour, JWT Egypt, JWT Dubai, Leo Burnett Egypt and many more. Hagras has also collaborated with film directors from Egypt and Europe, such as Tariq El-Erian, Hussein Shaaban, Ali Ali and others. Hagras’s other areas of expertise lie in directing, acting, and writing for theater and advertising.

Hagras’s workshop will provide students with an in-depth understanding of all the principles behind storyboarding, with Hagras providing tips and tricks derived from his own experience within the field.
