"Something Beautiful About it” exhibition to be held

CAIRO – 20 October 2017: "Something Beautiful About it” exhibition will be held at 7 p.m. at the https://www.facebook.com/PicassoEastArtGallery/ from October 21 to November 5.

"Something Beautiful About it” is the motto for the new upcoming Guirguis Lotfy art exhibition — and who wants to miss anything beautiful?

Lotfy is a fine artist who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Alexandria University in 1980 and held many exhibitions, all of which were inspired from Egyptian streets.

Most of his paintings’ themes dominate feasts, celebrations, rituals and traditions, some of which are still practised and others fading away. Consequently, he makes sure they are all vivid in his artwork.

He also focuses on featuring Pharaonic, Islamic and Coptic arts, and he is keen on asserting the importance of equality between humans, regardless of their religious beliefs.
