'Ala Fikrah' Group to perform at Makan

CAIRO – 14 October 2017: “Ala Fikrah” [By the Way] music group will perform live at Egyptian Center for Culture and Arts "Makan" on October 17.

Ala Fikra is a music group formed by the French accordionist Patricha Draeger.
She played for the first time in Egypt in 2016. The Swiss Embassy in Cairo chose her to perform at the Egyptian Railway Museums.

The event witnessed the birth of a new musical project which is “Ala Fikrah”
The project started to grow gradually and it performed a number of concerts in Cairo and Alexandria.

Performing international music compositions for many composers, the project always play various selections of music as Turkish, Argentinean, Egyptian and Swiss music.

According to the event official Facebook page “Ala Fikrahn was the first word Patricia memorized and used all the time while she was here.”(in Egypt)
The project consists of Patricha Draeger on accordion, Yamen on Qanon, Amr on Violin, and Mostafa on Bass.
