CAIRO – 12 October 2017: Egyptian Pink Floyd tribute band, Andromida, will perform live at Bibliotheca Alexandrina on November 30.
This concert is the second announced concert from Andromida’s “Nights of Wonder Tour.”
The beginning of "Nights of Wonder" was on September 22 at Cairo Opera House.
"Nights of Wonder" was first performed in 2014; Andromida is re-introducing the tour, aiming to create a more joyful atmosphere, and present a new level of enjoyment through different selections from Pink Floyd's music.
The name of the tour is extracted from Pink Floyd’s most popular song “High Hopes.”
According to the event’s official Facebook page, Andromida will perform more than 20 songs such as: “Shine on You Crazy Diamond,” “Wish You were Here,” “High Hopes,” “Speak to Me,” and “Eclipse.”
The band consists of Amr Hassan on keyboards and vocals, Ally Salem on guitar and vocals, Ahmed Anwar on Bass guitar and vocals, and Sherif al-Sharqawi on drums and vocals, in addition to Mahmoud Elhamy on saxophone.
