Fantasy film ‘I Origins’ to screen at Magnolia Leaves of Art

CAIRO – 11October 2017: Drama/fantasy film “I Origins” (2014) will be screening at Magnolia Leaves of Art in Zamalek on Saturday.

Directed by Mike Cahill, the English film was released in Russia and revolves around a molecular biologist who dedicates a passionate study on the human eye, exploring scientific and spiritual beliefs throughout this journey.

The film stars Michael Pitt, Steven Yeun and Astrid Berges-Frisbey, among others.

“I Origins” has been nominated for the Saturn Award for the Best Independent Film in America and the Grand Special Prize in the Deauville Film Festival in 2014. The film also won Best Film in Stiges-Catalonian International Film Festival, as well as a prize in the Talliann Black Nights Film Festival.
