Yehia El-Fakharany to return to drama

CAIRO – 9 October 2017: The iconic Egyptian actor Yehia El-Fakharany will return to Egyptian drama through a new series in 2018.

The series will be produced by Mona Qotb, written by Mohamed Ragaa, and directed by Hala Khalil. Till now, the series entitled “Be al-Hagm al-Aa’ely” [Family Size].

Qotb stated to the press that the series discusses a social issue that will grab the attention of the audience. She added that Fakharany selects the topics of his works accurately; this is one of the reasons why Fakharany is a number one actor in Egyptian Drama.

Ibrahim Hamouda the director of Fakharany’s new series production agency announced that the company is preparing for another series, in addition to Fakharany’s series.

The latest series of Fakharany was “Wanoos,” which aired in 2016. It examined the relationship between man and devil.
The series was influenced by Dante’s divine comedy, “Goethe Faust,” and Christopher Marlow’s “Doctor Faustus.”
