CAIRO – 3 October 2017: Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s Center of Francophone Activities is currently organizing the fourth edition of its Francophone Professions Festival, running on October 16 and 17.
The Festival of Francophone Professions is part of the BA’s efforts to target French speaking Alexandrians and help spread knowledge of the French culture and language in Alexandria for those who would be interested. The festival aims to present several diverse events such as a variety of shows, performances, French food, workshops, and guest speakers. This year’s edition will feature guest of honor Côte d’Ivoire.
Apart from Egypt, other countries participating in the festival are Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Senegal, and Tunisia, along with dance groups from Nubia and Côte d’Ivoire.
