‘Violin and Piano Recital Night’ at Cairo Opera House

CAIRO – 1 October 2017: “Violin and Piano Recital Night” concert will be performed at Cairo Opera House on October 6.

The concert will be performed by David Hales on piano and Hassan Sharara and Ahmed Sharara on violins. They will perform a number of compositions by Fritz Kreisler.

A number of Kreisler most famous pieces include: “Recitative and Scherzo-Caprice for Solo Violin, Op. 6,” “Violin Concerto in C major in the style of Vivaldi,” “Gypsy Caprice,” and “Liebesfreud.”

Kreisler, who was born in Austria in 1875, is one of the greatest composers and violinists in history. He died in 1962.

His compositions are characterized by sweet tones and expressive phrasing.
