) concluded its 24th edition on Friday with a music ensemble of oud players. CIFCET ran between September 19 and September 29.
The closing ceremony was inaugurated by Egyptian artist Mohamed Adel and Jordanian artist Amal El Dabas. The festival featured an array of artists from across the world in the 10-day event, according to a statement released by CIFCET.

Nasser Abdel Moneim, the CIFCET manager, previously announced that 200 theater troupes applied for this edition, which was organized by the Ministry of Culture.
CIFCET’s opening ceremony featured “Three Sisters” by playwright Anton Chekhov. Three Egyptian theatrical performances participated including “the Day They Killed Singing,” “the Bridge,” “the 40 Rules of Love,” “the Experiment,” “Shaman,” “the Ambassador,” and “Women With No Tomorrow.”
