Egyptian Modern Dance Theater at Al-Gomhoria

Cairo - 20 September 2017: The Egyptian Modern Dance Theater (EMDT) presents "The Castle of Death" performance at Al-Gomhoria Theater on September 25 at 8 p.m. and on September 27 at 10:30 p.m., Cairo Opera House’s Facebook page reported on Wednesday.

The performance is directed by Monadel Antar, with choreography by Sally Ahmed and Antar, and scenography by Amr Abdullah. Ticket prices are LE 25 ($1.40), LE 35 and LE 50.

The EMDT group is affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and the Cairo Opera House.

The group is considered the first of its kind in the Arab world, and they work on the themes of Egyptian and Arabic civilization. They have presented 26 performances, participated in many international festivals and performed in the U.S., Europe, China and Korea, EMTD’s Facebook page reported.
