AWIFF started to receive submission applications

CAIRO - 18 September 2017: Aswan Women International Film Festival started to receive submissions for the 2nd edition of the festival in short and long movie competition.

The festival will continue receiving applications till the end of November. The festival's rules stipulate that long films (feature - documentary - motion) must not be less than 60 minutes, while short films (feature - documentary - motion) are not to be more than 30 minutes long.

Accordingly, films that do not meet these conditions will be screened in the official section outside the competition.

The 2nd Aswan Women International Film Festival will be held from February 20 to 26, with the support of the Ministries of Culture and Tourism and the sponsorship of the National Council for Women.
